Could you describe how to reproduce the issue ?
Is upgrade the only change in your setup ?
This error could be caused by disk hardware issue or removable disk/network share disconnect .

11/28/2022, 10:07 AMyes , the earlier version were running fine. my questdb "db" directory is on a ramdisk , but this error doesn't occur before
maybe it‘s the issue of my ramdisk

there are few guards in our code to make sure we don't crash, we will need to find a way to reproduce the error to check which guard failed
and please let us know which questdb version does work correctly

11/28/2022, 1:28 PMI use questdb from 6.2 version and I use the ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver from the same time, and there was no the same issue, until 6.61 version. I will change the ramdisk tomorrow and then watch it . thanks!

i theory, we write data to disk after have checked the free space. But if there is another process using the same disk and exhausting free space, we wouldn't be able to defend against crash
can you think of anything else using space on ram disk ?
