Hi. Just starting out. Installed the binaries on windows on my stationary machine. I connected to the web console locally and created a test table and a couple entries. However when I try to connect to the web console with my laptop, try to run a curl get request or a webhook through the REST API, I am not able to connect due to timeout. I tried turning off the windows firewall completely and I can now connect to the web console.
I added questdb to be allowed in the firewall, but that doesn't work. Do I need to allow something else or is it an error in the questdb allowance (allowed public and private; should allow all ports).
Edit: nvm, JAVA(TM) Platform SE binary needed the correct allowance.

are you able to connect with disable firewall?

Thank you and yea, I figured it out ( it did work with disabled firewall). Think I pressed the wrong thing back when I installed, so it had access to private network, when it needed public.

could you tell us a little bit about your use case?

We are a couple of students who want to try to do some digital image processing (anpr) on a particle argon and run some webhooks through the particle site to query the QuestDB to see if we "know" the license plate and possible the "clearance" we have given it. Then maybe do an action based on that and make a database table where we log the cars and occurances.
