    Good morning all, I'd like some guidance regarding to_timezone() and to_utc(), please. Referencing https://questdb.io/docs/guides/working-with-timestamps-timezones/ to_timezone() is supposed to convert a timestamp value to a specific time zone:
    SELECT to_timezone(1659078123000000, 'Europe/Berlin');
    returns
    2022-07-29T09:02:03.000000Z
    which I find confusing. 09:02:03 corresponds to 1659078123 in my local time zone (Europe/Berlin), but the trailing Z is the UTC zone designator. I don't think this can be right. Either the 'Z' must be absent (indicating local time), or there should be a '+02:00' offset. Might that be a bug? On the other hand, if I use to_utc() to convert my local time to UTC
    SELECT to_utc('2022-07-29T09:02:03.000000', 'Europe/Berlin');
    the output is correct:
    2022-07-29T07:02:03.000000Z
    However, if I supply my local time with utc offset and specify an additional TZ
    SELECT to_utc('2022-07-29T09:02:03.000000+02:00', 'Europe/Berlin');
    (not sure what this should even mean, the tz spec is redundant in this case, what happens if they differ?), I get:
    2022-07-29T09:02:03.000000Z
    which again, can't be right. If this was UTC, as the trailing Z indicates, the time should be 07:02:03, not 09:02:03. Greatly appreciated if somebody could shed light on this (or fix my head with some coffee). Thanks!

    hello 👋 Not sure if this is a bug, but I try to do the following query, where
    ts
    is a designated timestamp column and
    my_table
    has a minute by minute frequency
    SELECT LAST(f1) f1, b1, dateadd('h', 1, ts) ts
      FROM my_table
      SAMPLE BY 1h ALIGN TO CALENDAR
    It does not work due to the sample by not working. After the
    dateadd
    the
    ts
    is not treated as a designated timestamp anymore. The following query works as expected:
    SELECT LAST(f1) f1, b1, ts
      FROM my_table
      SAMPLE BY 1h ALIGN TO CALENDAR

    Hi 👋 I’d like to do a
    SAMPLE BY
    + an
    OFFSET
    which is equal to the
    SAMPLE BY
    frequency. How can I achieve this? I want to do this because I’d like my timestamp to always be at the end of the frequency period and not in the beginning : ) Something like:
    SAMPLE BY 1d
    ALIGN TO CALENDAR WITH OFFSET 1d
    or
    SAMPLE BY 5m
    ALIGN TO CALENDAR WITH OFFSET 5m

    Good morning all, If I have a sample by 1h query and the data I'm querying has a row with ts 7:59:59, is there a way to make sure that the sample by rounds to the nearest hour From what I can see, the first row will round down to 7:00:00, but want it to round to 08:00:00 (Trying to see it's possible to do this without using any case statements to check time differences, and if it comes as an extra param to the sample by)

    Hello questdb folks, I have need for a postgres db and I'm loath to spin up a new instance. I asked my vendor if questdb is supported and I got this in response
